Mitha Events UK was established alongside Nawa-i-Jang London, with a shared commitment to serving the community and strengthening relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom. For more than two decades, the organisation has brought people together through events promoting cultural, political, humanitarian, social and commercial ties between the two countries.
Its programmes have explored important themes, including the Charter of Democracy, Pakistan’s future and trade relations with the United Kingdom. These gatherings have provided opportunities for constructive dialogue, cooperation and positive community representation. In 2023, Mitha Events UK also organised its first celebration in Lahore to mark the birthday of His Majesty King Charles III.
For the past 25 years, we have distributed Nawa-i-Jang London free of charge to the community, with a distribution network extending from London to Glasgow. As part of this work, Nawa-i-Jang, under the auspices of Mitha Events UK, published separate 32-page special editions dedicated to Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Majesty King Charles III. These publications reflected our commitment to fostering goodwill and mutual respect between the Pakistani community and wider British society.
Mitha Events UK also recognises outstanding community contributions through merit-based awards. Its events bring together local councillors, mayors, Members of Parliament, business leaders and individuals from a wide range of professions and backgrounds.
Our commitment is to deliver peaceful, meaningful and professionally organised events that contribute positively to British society. Integrity, transparency, honouring our commitments and ensuring honest dealings are central to our work. Through every initiative, we seek to strengthen trust, unity and mutual respect within the community.
Yours sincerely,
